How To Register Your Child for a Dyslexia Assessment

Book using our online appointment system: You can easily schedule an assessment for your child by visiting our website and accessing the online booking system. This allows you to choose a date and time that works best for you and your child.

Background Information: The assessor will contact you to provide questionnaires which gather background information from parents and the school
The assessment takes place: Once you’ve booked the appointment, we will contact you to arrange the venue for the assessment. This can be at your home, at one of our venues or at your child’s school should the school be willing to facilitate the assessment.
One of our experienced professionals will conduct a comprehensive dyslexia assessment, which may include various tests and evaluations tailored to identifying the strengths and weaknesses within your child’s learning profile. The assessment takes approximately three hours and is conducted in a relaxed and supportive way.

A detailed report is provided: After the assessment is complete, the assessor will analyse the results and compile a detailed report specifically for your child. This report will provide valuable insights into your child’s strengths, weaknesses, and areas of difficulty related to their literacy and processing skills. It will also include recommendations and strategies to support your child’s learning and development for home and for school.
We endeavour to ensure that reports are completed and provided to parents within three weeks of the assessment date. Parents are responsible for sharing the report with their child’s school.
